Announcing Our New Executive Director
Richelle Todd-Yamoah is highly experienced in program management, delivery, and evaluation, with over 20 years of experience in philanthropy, government, and the non-profit sector. She has a proven track-record of ensuring that diverse organizations achieve programmatic excellence through the development and implementation of standards and resources which measure programmatic effectiveness and efficiency. Throughout her career, she has led agencies towards realizing and articulating sustainable and measurable impact.
As Vice President of Programs and Operations at the Pascale Sykes Foundation, Ms. Todd-Yamoah was responsible for helping to strengthen the capacity of grantees in support of the organization’s mission and Whole Family Approach throughout the state of New Jersey. While there, she developed and maintained relationships with key philanthropic, government and private stakeholders that led to investment and partnership in this vital work.
Most recently, Ms. Todd-Yamoah served as a Strategic Planning and Activity Design Advisor for USAID (United Sates Agency for International Development) where she led strategic planning and activity design processes for multiyear humanitarian assistance and resilience programming within the Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (BHA).
Earlier in her career, Richelle spent seventeen years with the American Friends Service Committee in Philadelphia supporting the organization in various capacities on issues related to international peacebuilding, conflict resolution, immigrant rights, economic and social justice.
Ms. Todd-Yamoah has worked as a consultant with organizations around strategic planning, grant management, fundraising, financial wellness, youth entrepreneurship, and the health of African immigrants. Ms. Todd-Yamoah is passionate about community development in her personal life, serving on the advisory boards of Mural Arts Philadelphia and Social Responsibility Through Me. A proud former Peace Corps volunteer in both Malawi and Côte d’Ivoire. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology from the University of Maryland and a master’s degree in public administration from Rutgers University.
